FESTIVAL HAPPENINGS
The Crimson Thread
Join us to follow the Crimson Thread throughout the narrative of the Bible, beginning with the creation story and ending with Christ's return. Beautiful learning experiences will delight young and old alike. Touchstones of faith are demonstrated in visual depictions of Bible stories and in poetry by children's author Suzie Salle.

Candy canes and their corresponding Christ story, gift bags, and Crimson Thread booklets will anchor the Christ of Christmas in your heart!
Nov. 27 & 29, 2024
2024 Season- See us at the Festival of Trees and the lighted Holiday Lights at Parkview Field.
Chrismon tree
The Christ Child Festival seeks to emphasize the hope and meaning of the Christ Child of Christmas. Chrismon trees symbolize the story of Christ with white and gold ornaments, representing Jesus' purity and perfection, as well as his majesty and glory. It is fitting that this year's Christ Child Festival entry at The Festival of Trees is a beautiful Chrismon tree!
Also displayed at Christmas in Parkview Field, the Chrismon tree will inspire your very own Chrismon ornament to be crafted at the festival! Hang it on your tree at home for a sweet memory with that special child in your life!
Live Christmas Music
Listen to your favorite Christmas Carols as you follow the Crimson Thread and sing along with local talent throughout the festival.

Bless a Veteran
Write a Christmas note of appreciation to a local veteran! The Veterans Association will be present to greet you and provide note-writing materials.
